Felix Yirdong is a Clinical Health Psychologist and a Teaching Associate at the School of Medical Sciences of the University of Cape Coast.
Currently, he serves as the CEO and Founder of BrightHill Empowerment Initiative, a youth-focused non-governmental organization committed to helping young entrepreneurs to translate their business solutions into realities by equipping them with the relevant skills and the needed exposure. He serves as the Project Manager to the STEPs Initiative.
Mr. Yirdong serves as the National Director, Youth Development for FGBMFI-Ghana, a faith based organization. During his tertiary education years, he served as the JCRC President for Kwame Nkrumah Hall in the University of Cape Coast (2010).
In 2014 he was selected as a youth representative from Ghana to the African Union Youth Summit, Addis Ababa. He is an alumnus of the Mandela Institute for Development Studies (MINDS), South Africa and has participated in a number of capacity building workshops organized by MINDS.
Whiles serving as the National Coordinator for ABCDE, he successfully coordinated a mentorship and entrepreneurship programme for British Council and Barclays Bank (Blazing Trails Programme) via ABCDE for three month in recognizing his contributions to youth development and entrepreneurship.
Mr. Yirdong was acknowledged by The United States Embassy in Accra with an official presentation. As a young leader who believes in youth empowerment Mr. Yirdong has an interest in helping young people to explore their talents, develop their potentials and contribute productively towards the betterment of their society.
