Stephen Obeng Darko is the brain behind the Obeng Darko Solicitors and Consultants in Ghana, a modern and dynamic law firm licensed and registered by the General Legal council.
He holds an LL.B from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. In the University, he served on several Committees including, but not limited to the judicial committees of the Students Representative Council, College of Arts and Social Science, Faculty of Law, Queen Elizabeth II Hall etc. He was called to the Ghana Bar in 2014 and has been a member of the Human Rights Committee of the Ghana Bar Association. Until recently, he was a Business Law Lecturer at the Accra Technical University.
He works with the National Health Insurance Authority as a Senior Manager of the Legal Directorate and is also an Associate of Acheampong & Associates, a modern dynamic law firm in Accra. He is a trial attorney with interest in areas such as corporate law, commercial law, Banking Law, human rights, constitutional and administrative law, Insurance law, Construction law and real property law.
Stephen also believes in giving back to society and as such, is involved in a number of social intervention programs. He is a co-founder of the Gifted Hands Foundation, a not for profit organization aimed at making donations to foster homes, hospitals, prisons, the less privileged, to mention a few.
